Lingaro Expands Global IT Power Women Mentoring to India

In order to promote professional development, leadership, and inclusivity for women in technology, Lingaro introduces its IT Power Women Global Mentoring Program in India.

In keeping with its mission to advance gender diversity in the IT industry, Lingaro is beginning its IT Power Women Global Mentoring Programme in India. The program is being launched simultaneously in India, Poland, and the Philippines by the data services and information technology (IT) Solutions Company with the goal of providing mentorship, career guidance, and leadership development opportunities to women professionals in the IT industry.

The project will contribute to the development of a more welcoming, varied and encouraging work environment for women in the technology industry. Empowerment, growth, networking, inclusivity, and leadership are the program's main goals.

Over 35 mentees have already benefited from the initiative, which has been acknowledged by the Responsible Business Forum, Poland's biggest CSR NGO. By introducing it in India, Lingaro is strengthening its goal of a varied, egalitarian, and inclusive business while also extending its efforts to empower more women in technology.

According to Lingaro India's country head, Suresh Ramamoorthy, women currently make up 31% of the company's worldwide workforce and 40% of management positions, which is a noteworthy accomplishment in the male-dominated IT industry.

He claims that in order to expand on this achievement, the IT Power Women Global Mentoring Programme believes that empowering women in IT is about more than simply mentoring; it's about influencing the direction of technology. In order to develop leadership, facilitate professional advancement, and provide a fair tech ecosystem where gifted women may flourish, this training is essential.

Experience mentors are chosen from within the organization through an internal assessment procedure as part of the program's organized recruitment process. Through an online application procedure, female tech students who exhibit involvement, enthusiasm, and a strong dedication to their professional and personal growth will be given the opportunity to apply. Meaningful mentoring connections will therefore be ensured by carefully matching mentors and mentees according to their backgrounds, abilities, and professional objectives.
