Salesforce Names Paul Carvouni!!

To hasten the adoption of agent-based AI throughout Southeast Asia, the CRM behemoth appoints seasoned businessman Paul Carvouni as SVP and GM for ASEAN.

Paul Carvouni has been named Senior Vice President and General Manager for ASEAN by Salesforce, to accelerate the region's adoption of agent-based AI. In this capacity, Carvouni will be responsible for advancing Salesforce's ASEAN expansion strategy, promoting operational and sales excellence, and supporting businesses in their transition to agile enterprises.

Salesforce is still growing its presence in Southeast Asia at the time of the appointment. In October 2025, the company expanded its operations from Singapore, Thailand, and Indonesia to include a new office in the Philippines. To meet the demands of the local market, it has also recently made its Agentforce Service and Employee Agent solutions available in a number of ASEAN languages.

ASEAN is still a significant market for Salesforce, according to Arun Kumar Parmeswaran, executive vice president and managing director for South Asia, who commented on the appointment.

According to Parmeswaran, Paul has extensive industry experience and can help clients use agentic AI to transform businesses.

Carvouni has over 20 years of expertise in the IT industry and has held prominent positions in ASEAN and the Asia Pacific. Before this, he was a leader at Microsoft and Riverbed Technology, where he oversaw the development and expansion of high-growth teams in the area.

Speaking about his new position, Carvouni expressed his excitement about spearheading Salesforce's dedication to the ASEAN area. From SMBs to large-scale enterprises and public sector organizations, the AI revolution offers enormous potential for impact in every nation, sector, and industry.

The goal is clear: to enable every client to become an Agentic Enterprise and unlock previously unheard-of productivity and intelligence. This region is poised for substantial growth, according to Carvouni. In order to provide reliable AI, data, and CRM solutions that will drive ASEAN's upcoming wave of innovation and expansion, he also expressed his excitement about collaborating with their skilled staff and vast network of partners.
