Ahold Delhaize has created the Healthy Future Academy, a new learning program designed to provide employees with the necessary knowledge, skills, and confidence to embed health and sustainability more deeply into their daily roles.
The traders define that e-learning program contain almost 20interactive, bite-sized lesson, captivating learners on a voyage by farm to plate, and following topics covered contain climate change and terrestrial health, nature and biodiversity, circularity, dealers and peer partnership, wastage of food and healthier client choice.
The real world case studies enable acquaintance to turn education into action. The results of a recent internal survey from the group indicate that 80% of respondents consider corporate action on sustainability to be a significant factor in their overall job satisfaction.
While health and sustainability has always been core to Ahold Delhaize's strategy, the company noted that its associates wanted more knowledge and practical tools to apply those commitments in their daily tasks.
The healthy future academy program designed for all roles for various regions and functions, permitting colleagues to grow their skill and learn how their role involves to mutual goals, whether they are working in sourcing, marketing, technology or finance, says Alex Holt, CSO at Ahold Delhaize.

This program include foundations course with key features, function-specific modules, real-world encouragement and interactive and malleable lessons and sessions, the merchant added.
