Business Fortune: Virgin Atlantic Gamifies Training

For its Sky High Club members, Virgin Atlantic has introduced a training platform that is akin to a game, offering information, assurance, and incentives to leisure agents and travel management consultants.

The Sky High Club is open to the airline's travel industry partners. It is intended to identify agents and assist them by providing knowledge, perspectives, motivation, and experiences that cannot be purchased.

The Hangar, the new homepage, is a one-stop shop for all you need to know about Virgin Atlantic. The airline's route network, joint ventures, cabin classes, and codeshares are described. It's gamified and has bite-sized courses to accommodate hectic schedules. In accordance with their workload, this enables agents to come and go, test their knowledge, and develop competence.

As agents finish modules, they will accrue Sky High Points that may be used for flights and lifestyle benefits. By the end of September 30, they will have completed three training modules and be eligible to enter a £250 Sky High Points reward draw. Exclusive lunches and invitations to awards are among the benefits, points, and recognition offered by the new platform.

Virgin Atlantic's new training platform for Sky High Club members is a place to inspire, upskill, and empower our agent community to achieve even higher heights, said Nikki Goldsmith, Director of Global Agency Sales. Virgin Atlantic is committed to investing in its travel industry partners, and this platform is a step in giving them the resources and self-assurance they need to provide their clients with very distinctive experiences on a daily basis.
