Classroom Manager Empowers Teachers with Smart Monitoring Tools

A cloud-based tool called Classroom Manager, developed by ManagedMethods was introduced to assist K–12 educators in monitoring student behavior on school-issued devices during class.

The release comes at a time when schools are increasingly finding it difficult to integrate online learning with student participation.

ManagedMethods provides cybersecurity, safety, and compliance tools to K–12 schools using Google Workspace and Microsoft 365. Its products are used by district IT personnel to monitor threats, enforce safety rules, and support safe learning environments.

Classroom Manager Offers teachers real-time tab control, URL access, and customizable settings, as well as the ability to see what their students are doing in their browsers. The platform supports interactions at the individual and group levels and features a "Scenes" function for controlling unequal access during project work or guided instruction.

Without consulting the IT staff, teachers can apply custom filters according to the demands of their classes and overrule pre-set blocking restrictions. A new admin panel lets substitute instructors access shared settings and shows a summary of the classes that are currently in session.

After a protracted planning and development period, ManagedMethods CEO Charli

e Sander said the company is thrilled to launch Classroom Manager in K–12 schools across the country. Without compromising student safety or security, their latest edition offers a wide range of features created especially to help teachers thrive in online classroom education.

The platform is connected with ManagedMethods' AI-powered Content Filter, which detects inappropriate or harmful online behavior and enforces compliance with the Children's Internet Protection Act (CIPA) and the E-rate program requirements. Material Filter may detect online activity associated with sexual material, bullying, or self-harm.
