An artificial intelligence system created by a group from Adobe Research and the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology has the potential to revolutionize the way visual effects are created for interactive media, video games, and movies.

The technology, known as TransPixar, gives AI-generated films a vital feature: the capacity to produce see-through components that seamlessly blend into environments, such as smoke, reflections, and ethereal effects.
