FedEx unveils first-of-its-kind data-driven e-commerce platform

FedEx has introduced fdx, a data-driven commerce platform that connects the customer journey, enabling companies to increase demand, increase conversion, and streamline returns.

The first data-driven commerce platform, fdx, was unveiled by FedEx Corp. today. It integrates the whole customer journey and helps businesses build demand, boost conversion, optimize fulfillment, and simplify returns. FedEx is the only logistics provider that connects the whole customer journey by providing end-to-end e-commerce solutions on a single platform for companies of all sizes.

Raj Subramaniam, President and CEO of FedEx Corp., made the announcement of the new platform today at the National Retail Federation's Big Show. FedEx is leveraging their scale and insights from moving 15 million packages per day to transform into a digitally-led business, driven by their extensive physical transportation network. They will strengthen their established connections with merchants of all sizes through fdx in order to assist them in utilizing digital intelligence to optimize and expand their operations.

From the point of demand to delivery and returns, fdx gives merchants the data and insights they need to make more strategic logistical decisions by enhancing visibility and connected capabilities across the customer journey. The platform will formally launch in the fall of 2024. Companies that are interested in learning more can register here to access the fdx platform, which is presently offered as a private preview [upon request]. For clients, the platform combines new and current FedEx capabilities.
