The Indianapolis-based software firm introduced two generative AI tools designed to help auto dealers create high-quality, personalized vehicle videos quickly and at scale.
At this week's NADA Show 2026, Covideo, a software company based in Indianapolis, launched a new line of generative artificial intelligence video solutions for car dealerships. The products are made to assist dealers in creating customized, quality videos with minimal effort.
The AI Video Agent and VIN Reels, two of the company's most recent products, are designed to automate the process of creating videos that are now done by dealership personnel. VIN Reels creates vehicle showcase videos with voiceover and music using inventory pictures and vehicle identifying number data. The AI Video Agent removes the need for manual recording by using a lifelike avatar to produce on-demand video presentations and responses.
The improvements, according to Covideo CEO Craig Zeutzius, are based on the company's more than 20 years of dealer working expertise. He pointed out that the new AI capabilities are designed to give busy sales teams speed, consistency, and reach without compromising quality, and that video has moved from being an innovation to a standard expectation in dealership communications.
Covideo emphasized that the AI features are dealer-initiated and optional. When in person video production is challenging due to time, weather, or resource limitations, they can help employees. Dealer control over the timing and application of AI is given priority by the company's platform, which interfaces with current dealership systems. Covideo was established in 2004 and has since established itself as a market leader in the automotive video industry, catering to over 3,500 dealerships in the US and Canada.
