The new AI features, which are free of charge, include the CPQ AI Assistant, the Prompt Management API, the NetSuite Expert SuiteAnswers, and a text enhancer for custom fields.
This week, Oracle NetSuite continued adding new AI features to its suite offering, which should help businesses increase their customization options and enhance workflows aided by AI. According to the firm, the new AI features, which are free of charge, include the Prompt Management API, the CPQ AI Assistant, the NetSuite Expert for SuiteAnswers, and a text enhancer for custom fields.
The recent version, which was part of the company's SuiteWorld conference in September of last year, introduced developer tools including SuiteScript and Prompt Studio and a new NetSuite Connector for Salesforce. By centralizing the administration and deployment of prompts used by large language models (LLMs) in NetSuite, the Prompt Management API is intended to assist businesses with AI integrations and adaptations.
In contrast, the CPQ AI Assistant, an AI agent—is intended to assist businesses in speeding up sales procedures and raising customer satisfaction levels. According to the business, the AI agent helps consumers and sellers configure goods and services. It may also offer a summary and suggest an appropriate product configuration through a natural language exchange.
According to a statement from Evan Goldberg, creator and senior vice president of NetSuite, the changes also feature a text enhancer for custom fields that should let businesses use generative AI to increase the speed and accuracy of data analysis and entry.
