University of Phoenix’s Edtech Programs address the growing demand for healthier workplaces and skilled talent pools.
The University of Phoenix has launched two innovative professional development edtech programs to help organizations meet the rising challenges of talent management and workplace wellness. These new offerings, “Talent Management” and “Workplace Wellness: Awareness and Action,” are part of the university’s Professional Development Skills Center and are designed to empower HR teams, leaders, and employees with practical tools for fostering healthier work environments and building future-ready workforces.
The initiative reflects findings from the World Economic Forum’s Future of Jobs Report 2023, which ranks talent management among the top organizational priorities for reskilling through 2027. The report also underscores the critical role of workplace wellness in boosting productivity and employee retention.
The Workplace Wellness Awareness and Action program spans 11 hours and focuses on mental health advocacy, stress management, and emotional safety. Participants will learn to identify mental health challenges, develop resilience, and improve communication skills. Meanwhile, the Talent Management program, a concise five-hour course, delves into succession planning, employee development, and talent retention. It equips participants with skills in workforce planning, budget optimization, and attracting top talent.
Delivered online, these programs offer flexibility for working professionals. Participants can complete the courses at their own pace within a year and receive certificates upon completion.
“These pathways provide practical solutions to pressing workplace challenges,” said Mukund Sudarsan, the Vice President and General Manager of Professional Development at the University of Phoenix. “Investing in talent management and wellness today ensures long-term success and resilience.”
