Skill-Based Training Boosts Students by 67% Amid E-Learning

Since 2019, e-learning has grown 67% due to the demand for skill training. Examine how the future is being shaped by trends, popular courses, and fresh financial investing options.

The annual 'E-learning Trends Report 2025' by career-tech platform Internshala shows that the e-learning industry has seen a tremendous upsurge, with a 67% increase in students choosing skill-based training since 2019. This increase emphasizes how crucial practical skills are becoming in a labor environment that is changing quickly, particularly since the Covid-19 outbreak started.

Web development was the most popular course among those taken, drawing in 13% of students. Advanced Excel accounted for 7% of the enrollments, while general aptitude training and digital marketing both attracted 8% of participants.

New investment options have been created by the financial industry concurrently with the growth of e-learning. Two schemes were introduced by DSP Mutual Fund: the "DSP BSE Sensex Next 30 Index Fund" and the "DSP BSE Sensex Next 30 ETF." By giving investors access to the top 30 firms outside of the benchmark Sensex, these efforts hope to increase their stock exposure.

The Mirae Asset Small Cap Fund was also introduced by Mirae Asset Investment Managers. With an emphasis on small-cap equities, this open-ended equity plan offers a methodical, research-based strategy for leveraging the development potential of small-cap firms with solid foundations.

With e-learning growing in popularity and financial markets offering creative investment options, both industries are meeting the changing demands of investors and learners alike, forming a future based on strategic expansion and skill development.
