Visa has announced an integration with SAP's Taulia, integrating Taulia Virtual Cards and digital payment technology, allowing automated supplier payments in accounts payable teams.
Tuesday, March 12th, saw the announcement by Visa of a new integration with Taulia, a working capital management solutions provider owned by SAP. Together, Taulia Virtual Cards and Visa's digital payment technology are being utilized in these cooperative activities. SAP's business applications and ERP services are being connected with the payment functionality. Teams handling accounts payable (AP) can automate supplier payments with the aid of this interface.
Taulia and Mastercard have already established a similar cooperative endeavor, as has been mentioned in recent months. More than 80% of banks now allow or intend to allow customers to use their own enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems to access accounts and make payments to third parties, according to research from PYMNTS Intelligence and Galileo.
A joint venture was established this past summer to produce financial services apps and embedded finance solutions by HSBC and Tradeshift, a B2B commerce platform. The joint venture was a component of an investment round in which HSBC contributed $35 million to Tradeshift, integrating digital solutions with Tradeshift and other platforms, such as payment processing. Netsuite Capital, an embedded service by Oracle, aims to help businesses reduce days sales outstanding and increase cash flow by evaluating, pricing, and sending bills from accounts receivable for immediate payment, thereby expediting payments and boosting working capital.
