Boston Consulting Group (BCG) and Anthropic, an artificial intelligence startup based in San Francisco, established a strategic partnership.
The San Francisco-based artificial intelligence startup Anthropic and Boston Consulting Group (BCG) have formed a strategic partnership.
Former top members of OpenAI who departed because of disagreements about the direction of the company's business dealings with Microsoft launched Anthropic in 2021. The company's flagship product is Claude, an AI assistant that rivals OpenAI's ChatGPT. Last month, Anthropic and Amazon established a strategic alliance that includes a $4 billion investment.
The company, which employs more than 200 people on LinkedIn, had already raised $1.5 billion before Amazon announced. The management consulting firm and its clients will have access to Claude thanks to the agreement with BCG; Anthropic characterizes Claude as "helpful, honest, and harmless."
BCG's client teams will utilize Claude to expedite writing-related processes, including finance report generation and HR job requirements, and synthesize long-form materials and research.
In use cases, including knowledge management, market research, fraud detection, demand forecasting, reporting, and business analysis, BCG will also assist customers in implementing anthropocentric AI models.
Throughout the year, the Big Four accounting firms and MBB strategy firms have announced multi-year investments totaling billions of dollars, mostly focused on increased collaborations with Microsoft. The massive IT company has made significant investments in OpenAI, and its Azure OpenAI Service incorporates the well-liked ChatGPT application for usage in business settings.
