National Retail Solutions (NRS) and Bennett Pump Company have introduced a national pricing program for independent fuel retailers, giving operators access to Bennett dispensing equipment alongside NRS Petro's EZ PUMP payment technology.
The initiative addresses an important part of running an independent fuel station: managing the cost and coordination of equipment upgrades. Retailers can purchase Bennett dispensers under a nationally available pricing structure and choose between NRS Petro's EZ PUMP payment technology and Bennett's factory payment equipment.
The announcement extends a partnership introduced in July, when Bennett dispenser support was added to the NRS Petro point-of-sale platform. The new program takes that relationship into equipment purchasing, giving independent operators another way to approach the financial planning behind a forecourt upgrade.
Looking at the Entire Investment
A fuel dispenser is a significant piece of a station's infrastructure, but its replacement can influence several other purchasing decisions. Owners have to consider payment technology, transaction processing and how the forecourt connects with the wider retail operation. Bringing those elements into the same planning process can help operators make more informed decisions about their equipment investments.
NRS President and CEO Elie Y. Katz described the thinking behind the program.
"Everything we do at NRS is about helping independent retailers compete, and this program is no exception. Independent fuel retailers should have access to modern forecourt technology at pricing that makes sense for their business. Working with Bennett allows us to approach the entire site differently. Instead of looking at the dispenser, payment technology, and point of sale as separate investments, we can create a much more competitive modernization strategy for the independent retailer."
That approach is reflected in the available configurations. Retailers can pair Bennett dispensing equipment with NRS Petro's EZ PUMP, which supports payment directly at the dispenser, or choose Bennett's factory payment equipment. The options allow operators to consider their preferred payment setup alongside their equipment requirements.
Bennett also offers an optional 12-inch media display for its dispensers. The screen supports video, static images, and sound, with content managed directly by the station owner. There is no monthly merchandising fee, giving retailers control over how they use the display and what customers see while refueling.
For an independent operator, that feature introduces another consideration into the equipment investment. A station can use the display for its own promotions or other customer-facing content, with the flexibility to manage the material as its business evolves.

The Reach Behind the Partnership
The program combines two established businesses with experience in different parts of fuel retail. Bennett has more than a century of experience manufacturing dispensing equipment, with products serving gasoline, diesel, compressed natural gas, liquefied natural gas, and hydrogen markets.
NRS brings its point-of-sale and payment technology operation, serving independent retailers through its NRS Petro division. Its broader retail platform supports thousands of independent businesses across the United States and Canada.
Bennett National Accounts Manager Paul Stone highlighted the significance of that existing reach.
"NRS gives independent fuel retailers another choice when it comes to building a reliable, cost-effective forecourt. The company brings an established POS platform serving tens of thousands of locations nationwide. NRS is a solution that is practical, flexible, and designed specifically with the independent fuel retailer in mind."
That existing network gives Bennett an established route into a substantial independent retail technology ecosystem, while NRS gains a dispensing equipment partner with a long manufacturing history. The arrangement brings those capabilities together around a customer segment with specific purchasing requirements.
A National Pricing Structure
Bennett's national pricing program is available through authorized Bennett distributors, while NRS Petro's EZ PUMP solution is offered through NRS and its distribution network.
The announcement establishes nationally available pricing for Bennett equipment, with retailers able to assess their preferred dispenser and payment configurations through the respective distribution channels. The actual investment will depend on the equipment selected and the requirements of each location.
For station owners planning an upgrade, those choices bring equipment, payment functionality, and customer-facing features into a more connected purchasing decision. The next consideration is how each configuration fits the individual site's operating needs and capital plans.
