Boots TikTok Shop is turning beauty discovery into a shopping experience, but what will happen when trusted beauty brands meet TikTok’s creator-driven world?
The UK’s leading beauty company, Boots, is set to launch officially on TikTok Shop on September 28, 2026. Boots TikTok Shop give customers a new way to discover and buy beauty products directly through TikTok. The UK retailer will begin with a selected range of No7 skincare and beauty products before expanding its presence on the platform.
Boots will initially sell selected No7 products on TikTok Shop, including products from the No7 Pro Artist, Good Intent and Prime Forever ranges. More Boots brands and products will be added to the platform in the coming months as the retailer expands its social commerce presence.
Beauty discovery is moving closer to purchase
The launch comes as shoppers increasingly discover products through creator content, short videos and interactive social platforms. Boots is looking to use this behavior to reach new and younger customers while giving existing shoppers another digital route to its products.
Paula Bobbett, Chief Digital and Data Officer at Boots, said: “Millions of people are already discovering beauty and skincare products through TikTok and the creators and communities that they trust.”
Boots currently operates more than 1,800 stores across the UK and has continued expanding its digital shopping services alongside its physical retail network.
Could LIVE shopping become a bigger part of Boots’ digital strategy?
LIVE shopping will play a major role in the launch. Boots will host a live event featuring No7 products, allowing customers to watch product content, discover items and shop during the sessions. Exclusive launch offers will also be available. TikTok Shop says its LIVE shopping sales increased 55% year on year in 2026, based on its internal data. The figure highlights the growing role of livestreaming in social commerce, particularly within beauty.
Emily Caine, Head of Beauty at TikTok Shop, said the arrival of Boots reflects how discovery commerce is changing the way consumers find and shop for products through their social feeds.
THG Ingenuity will support the new shopping channel
The TikTok Shop launch is being delivered with THG Ingenuity. Its THG Commerce and THG Fulfil teams are supporting the setup, LIVE shopping, social commerce experience and fulfilment. For Boots, the move connects content, discovery and purchasing in one environment. Instead of moving from social media to another website to complete a purchase, customers can discover selected products within the TikTok shopping experience.
The initial focus on No7 also gives Boots an opportunity to test how its established beauty brands perform in a creator-led retail environment. More products and brands are expected to follow as the pilot develops.
As Business Fortune observes, Boots’ TikTok Shop launch could become part of a broader retail strategy where social content, live demonstrations and direct purchasing work together, giving beauty shoppers more interactive ways to discover products online.
