Oracle NetSuite SuiteCloud Agent Skills boosts AI coding, helps developers build and customize applications faster, safer, and more efficiently.
Oracle NetSuite has introduced a new set of knowledge packages designed to improve how developers use AI coding tools within its platform. The offering is called SuiteCloud Agent Skills. NetSuite SuiteCloud aims to help customers and partners build and customize NetSuite applications faster and with fewer risks.
SuiteCloud Agent Skills give AI coding agents deeper context about SuiteCloud conventions, patterns, and best practices. This allows developers to use natural language to create, review, and deploy applications more efficiently. Instead of relying on generic AI tools, developers can now work with systems that better understand NetSuite’s structure and rules.
Brian Chess, senior vice president of AI, Product, and Technology at Oracle NetSuite, said the goal is to make development faster and more reliable. He noted that businesses need to act on data quickly and safely, and AI-assisted development can reduce long, error-prone coding cycles.
The new solution stands out as the first ERP platform to adopt the agentskills.io open standard. It brings structured application development guidance to more than 25 AI coding platforms. Developers can use popular AI agents, AI-powered tools, and the SuiteCloud Developer Assistant to manage changes using simple language instead of complex code.
This launch builds on NetSuite’s broader 2026.1 release, which introduced several AI-driven updates. These include the SuiteCloud Developer Assistant within the Visual Studio Code extension, along with features like Narrative Insights, Prompt Studio enhancements, support for the N/llm module, and integration with the GPT-OSS model.
The move reflects a wider trend in enterprise software. As Business Fortune observes companies are starting to shape how AI tools interact with their systems. By packaging its own development knowledge, NetSuite is ensuring that AI-driven workflows remain accurate, secure, and aligned with its platform standards.
