Ripple shares an update on the XRP Ledger hub, highlighting strong performance, recent upgrades, and improved network reliability and stability.

Ripple CTO David Schwartz has shared a fresh update on his XRP Ledger server hub, highlighting strong performance and recent upgrades aimed at improving the network’s reliability.

The hub was launched by Schwartz last year after outlining plans in August, has now been running as a production service designed for high uptime and dependable data output. It plays a key role in tracking the XRP Ledger’s behavior and performance, offering insights for developers and researchers exploring real-world use cases of Blockchain technology.

Following that, Schwartz revealed that the hub was briefly taken offline for software upgrades. The downtime lasted less than 10 minutes. Addressing questions on X, he clarified that the interruption was routine and not caused by any system issues. He also noted that the hub has operated flawlessly over the past two weeks which eased the concerns about efficiency.

The upgrades included moving the XRP Ledger blockchain ledger software to version 3.2.0-b3, along with updates to the operating system and platform. These changes bring better data handling and smoother communication between servers, helping prevent problems during high network demand. At the same time, the XRP Ledger Foundation confirmed an update to its Unique Node List or UNL. This list determines which validators a server trusts during the consensus process. Gen3Labs has been added to the UNL while the University of Sao Paulo was removed at its own request.

Earlier in March, version 3.1.2 of the “rippled” server software was released, fixing security issues that could cause crashes or outages in rare cases. Together, these updates reflect ongoing efforts to strengthen the XRP Ledger’s infrastructure. With improved stability and transparency, the network is positioning itself for greater growth, while building confidence among developers, validators and users.

Looking ahead, consistent upgrades and proactive maintenance applying new technologies are likely to play a key role in sustaining the XRP Ledger’s performance and resilience. According to Business Fortune these efforts underline Ripple’s focus on building a dependable infrastructure for real-world blockchain applications.
