Netweb Technologies launches Tyrone ParallelStor Velox, a unified data platform for AI and HPC workloads, aiming to simplify high-speed data and expand its AI infrastructure.

Netweb Technologies India Ltd., an IT services company, on Wednesday announced the debut of its "Tyrone ParallelStor Velox" unified data platform. This is the company's first venture into advanced data platforms targeted at high-performance computing (HPC) and artificial intelligence (AI) workloads.

According to the company, Velox targets high-throughput pipelines feeding GPU clusters and combines data from flash, storage, tape, and cloud into a single global namespace. The new platform combines computation and storage capabilities to handle complicated simulations and large-scale analytics, meeting the increasing demand for high-speed data processing and management in compute-intensive applications.

By expanding its product line beyond high-end computing equipment to include integrated data solutions, Netweb is better positioned to take a bigger portion of the rapidly expanding AI and HPC infrastructure market. The platform will first be implemented in India, according to the company, with intentions to grow into other countries.

As it expands its focus on AI-led infrastructure, the launch builds on Netweb's previous product launches, such as the Tyrone Camarero GB200 AI Supercomputer and the Tyrone Camarero Spark personal computing system earlier this year. The platform's technology stack is anticipated to be supported by its long-standing collaboration with NVIDIA.

With this launch, Netweb became one of the providers offering storage stacks designed for AI workloads that are focused on GPUs. Independent performance data, deployment case studies, and the platform's compatibility with current compute and data orchestration ecosystems will determine the practical implications for users.

Enterprise adoption of generative AI and data-intensive applications is driving the global demand for AI-ready infrastructure, which coincides with Netweb's entry into unified data platforms. However, both domestic and international competitors will cause a serious threat to the business. While HCL Technologies keeps growing its enterprise AI and managed HPC services, Yotta Data Services is expanding its sovereign AI cloud capabilities in India. Integrated AI and HPC solutions are also provided by international hyperscalers like Google Cloud.

According to Business Fortune Netweb’s entry into unified data platforms signals a strong move up the AI infrastructure stack, but its long-term success will depend on real-world performance, ecosystem compatibility and how effectively it can compete in a market.
