At Red Hat Tech Day 2026 in Seoul, the company showcased strategies for scalable enterprise AI, hybrid cloud infrastructure, security, and GPU optimization.
Red Hat hosted Red Hat Tech Day 2026 at L Tower in Seocho-gu, Seoul, on the 11th, according to the IT industry on the 13th. The theme of the event was "AI-Ready Hybrid Cloud Platform Building Strategy." Practical enterprise AI implementation strategies, including scalable infrastructure, robust security architectures, and simple operating platforms, were presented in presentations.
The keynote speech introducing Red Hat's AI-integrated operations platform for enterprise-grade AI was given by Choi Won-young, Executive Vice President of Red Hat Korea. According to Choi, to obtain cost and governance benefits, enterprise AI operating environments should be built on the same technology and operational techniques as current IT environments. On a single platform, Red Hat OpenShift makes it possible to manage both new and current AI environments. Also, he underlined that "now is the time to focus on AI inference," stressing the significance of inference design that maximizes GPU performance.
A variety of presentations on customer scenarios and technology strategies were given during later sessions. Korea Electric Power Data Network (KDN) presented their Red Hat OpenShift-based cloud-native transformation case, outlining implementation obstacles, solutions, and observable outcomes.
Also, open-source AI inference architecture techniques were presented. Using distributed inference, quantization, and vLLM's PagedAttention and continuous batching technologies to improve GPU utilization efficiency, presenters described methods for deploying scalable AI services in business settings.
Proactive OS security lifecycle management with Red Hat solutions from detection to remediation, migration strategies for stable service transitions, and DR architecture transformation strategies for business continuity in the cloud-native era were among the topics covered in other sessions.
Red Hat Tech Day 2026 demonstrated how enterprises are preparing for the next phase of AI adoption through hybrid cloud platforms, scalable infrastructure, and open-source innovation. Through keynote sessions, customer case studies, and technical presentations, the event emphasized practical strategies for deploying AI at scale while maintaining security, governance, and operational efficiency.
