Adobe joins with Saudi Humain to bring regional culture into creative tools for designers and creators.
Adobe joins a growing list of U.S. tech companies announcing partnerships with Saudi Arabian AI startup Humain during this week's U.S.-Saudi investment blitz in Washington, D.C. The partnership focuses on creating generative AI models for audio, video, and 3D, all of which are trained on Arabian cultural data to make the technology feel more genuine and Arabian to regional creators.
According to Shantanu Narayen, CEO of Adobe, combining Adobe's creative tools with Humain's cultural focus and strong infrastructure could have a major impact on users across the Arab world. AI is opening up creativity in ways that have never been more beneficial or accessible.
The partnership immediately links Adobe's Creative Cloud stack, which includes Firefly, Express, Acrobat, and its marketing tools, with Humain's entire independent AI ecosystem, from Humain Cloud and Humain ONE to ALLAM and its data center platforms. Also, Qualcomm will help by providing data center technologies to support Humain's infrastructure. It shows how generative AI is expanding worldwide, with cultural identity playing an important part in the development of future generations of AI tools.
