Adobe for Startups offers eligible early-stage companies 12 months of free creative, document and marketing tools. Here is who qualifies.
Adobe has launched Adobe for Startups, a program that gives eligible early-stage companies 12 months of free access to Firefly Pro Plus, Acrobat Studio and Semrush.
At a glance: Adobe announced the program on Nov. 2. Startups founded within the past five years that have raised less than $15 million can apply. The free year covers Adobe Firefly Pro Plus, Acrobat Studio with Adobe Express Premium and Semrush.
What does Adobe for Startups include?
Three subscriptions cover a lot of ground.
Firefly Pro Plus is Adobe's creative AI studio for images, video and audio, with commercially safe models, partner models and Photoshop on web and mobile. Acrobat Studio bundles PDF tools, an AI assistant and Adobe Express, so founders can edit documents, build presentations and collect signatures. Semrush shows how customers find a brand across traditional and AI-powered search, according to Adobe.
Who can apply?
The rules are short.
A startup must have been founded within the last five years and raised less than $15 million. Adobe's program page adds two requirements: a company website and a business email address. It describes the target as companies from Seed through Series A. Adobe checks eligibility during the application and country availability applies.
What happens after the free year?
The offer is a one-time deal. Startups can redeem it once, for 12 consecutive months. When it ends, they pick from Adobe's available paid plans.
Who is already using it?
Adobe named three launch startups: DataCurve, Gondola and Oruk. Gondola's founder and CEO, Jared Kleinstein, said how a company shows up matters as much as what it builds and that the program "helps founders get both right."
DataCurve's co-founder and CEO, Aman Johar, told ChannelLife the program "gives us the tools to start bringing that vision to life."
Is it only software?
No. Participants also get workshops, events and a peer community. On Dec. 3, Adobe will host a hands-on "Brand on Demand" workshop with Artist and the Machine, where founders build a week of on-brand marketing content in real time using Adobe's AI tools.
