Mahindra unveils the Vision.X concept, a likely hybrid or electric SUV, completing the lineup of four teasers under the new Freedom_NU platform.

Mahindra has been doing well lately, revealing new ideas and even a platform that will be unveiled on August 15, 2025. Following the Freedom_NU platform teaser, the Vision.T, Vision.S, and Vision.SXT concepts were presented. The latest concept is the Vision.X.

All three of the earlier teasers appeared to show big, tough SUVs, but the Vision.X appears to be a smaller SUV with a more family-friendly design. Four colors were displayed in the teaser for the Freedom_NU platform: white, yellow, orange, and grey. The first three colors were present in the first three conceptions, and the grey color completes the spectrum in Vision.X.

The Vision.T and Vision.SXT is believed to be a development of the Thar.e and Global Pickup concepts. The Vision.X may be a hybrid or electric variant of the XUV 3XO, or it may possibly be a new model in the XUV lineup, as the Vision.S is anticipated to be the all-electric Scorpio concept.

All four of the ideas that Mahindra has hinted at so far are probably supported by the Freedom_NU platform. It is anticipated to support the brand's upcoming ICE, EV, and potentially hybrid cars. Mahindra's plant in Chakan, Pune, will produce innovative ideas and the Freedom_NU platform.

The Vision.X concept, along with the Freedom_NU platform and the other three concepts will be unveiled on August 15. This is consistent with the five-year-old pattern Mahindra has been using to introduce new vehicles, ideas, and platforms on August 15.
