With the hiring of Hachem Alabed as its new Retail Middle East Hub Leader, Permasteelisa Group, the preeminent global façade expert, has revitalized its retail operations in the Middle East.
Hachem will help Permasteelisa Gartner Retail, the company's specialized retail branch, flourish in the area as it strives for even greater penetration in important international markets. He was based at the company's London headquarters since 2015, although he has subsequently moved. Hachem has worked in operationally oriented, contract, and project-focused positions. Most recently, he led the London special projects team.
The vision of world-renowned brands and top architects is brought to life by Permasteelisa Gartner Retail, which designs, fabricates, and installs upscale premium retail façades and fit-outs. The retail team uses resources and experience from throughout the world to satisfy the demands of each project, starting from its centers of excellence in Asia, the USA, and now the Middle East. More than 1,500 upscale retail locations have been completed by the firm, and more than 100 projects are presently in progress.
The general manager of Permaseelisa Gartner Retail, Antoine Cazalis de Fondouce, said that Hachem's appointment to lead the Middle East unit is a welcome addition to their solid and expanding team of over 185 professionals.
