Infosys Buys Australian Cybersecurity Firm the Missing Link in All-Cash Deal

Infosys has completed its AUD 98 million all-cash acquisition of The Missing Link, aiming to enhance its global cybersecurity capabilities and expand its footprint in the Australian market.

In a report to the Bombay Stock Exchange on Friday, Infosys said that it has successfully acquired the Australian cybersecurity services company The Missing Link for AUD 98 million. According to the filing, Infosys purchased the company in full cash through Infosys Singapore Pte Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary.

In addition to increasing its market share in Australia, Infosys hopes to improve its cybersecurity skills with this acquisition. The Missing Link adds a group of highly skilled cybersecurity professionals, including Red Team, Blue Team, and a cutting-edge GSOC, to Infosys' worldwide network of security centers.

Strategic guidance, offensive and defensive security services, tactical support, cybersecurity risk assessments & compliance, and managed services are all offered by The Missing Link's successful cybersecurity practice. According to a press statement from Infosys, the company is thrilled to welcome The Missing Link and its leadership team.

Alongside Infosys Cobalt and The Missing Link, Infosys aims to introduce a new wave of unique value for clients with its dedicated end-to-end cybersecurity expertise and solutions, the firm stated.

The Missing Link is a cloud services and cybersecurity expert that was founded in 1997 and offers services in all areas of IT strategy, technological roadmap, project management, cybersecurity, risk assessment & mitigation, and automation. Last month, Infosys declared that it was in the process of purchasing the Australian company.
