Snoop Dogg Returns to 'The Voice' with Major NBCUniversal Deal

According to Variety, Snoop Dogg is returning to his coaching role. As part of a comprehensive new deal with NBCUniversal, the rapper has committed to going back to The Voice.

He is also looking into a variety of film, television, sports, and streaming projects in association with his Death Row Pictures firm. This news was released on Wednesday, April 23.

The announcement comes after Snoop's 2024 coaching debut during the 26th season of the singing competition program. John Legend, Adam Levine, Michael Bublé, and Kelsea Ballerini are on the panel for the 27th episode of the show.

In recent years, NBC and the hip-hop artist have worked together on projects like The Voice. Snoop dominated much of the network's coverage of the 2024 Olympics last summer. The director of the biography he has been working on concerning his acquisition of Death Row Records with Universal is Allen Hughes.

Donna Langley, the chairperson of NBCUniversal Entertainment & Studios, and the NBCUniversal team have always known that not everyone has the guts and foresight to understand what Death Row Pictures can provide. However, he is pleased to announce that NBCUniversal is now his home. The Dogg has finally made the move to the neighborhood.
