The US Consulate and Mahratta Chamber of Commerce launched the US-India Cyber Security Initiative
In Pune, the first-ever US-India Cyber Security Initiative has been unveiled by the US Consulate in partnership with the Mahratta Chamber of Commerce, Industries, and Agriculture (MCCIA). This initiative is geared towards bolstering IT ties between the two nations and assembling leading cyber security experts worldwide to foster job creation and the development of cutting-edge solutions. During his presence at the MCCIA Pune Business International Business Summit, US Consul General Mike Hankey underscored the paramount importance of a secure, resilient, and stable cyberspace for both public and private sector advancement. He stressed the imperative to mitigate cybersecurity threats and ensure that the digital revolution serves to enhance global prosperity and stability. Consul General Hankey acknowledged the swift evolution of digital technologies and the attendant challenges they entail, emphasizing the necessity of US-India collaboration in confronting cybersecurity issues.
