Alo Yoga launched immersive shopping experience on Apple Vision Pro
Los Angeles-based Alo Yoga has unveiled an innovative shopping experience designed specifically for the Apple Vision Pro, coinciding with the debut of Apple's latest spatial computer headset. Crafted in partnership with experiential e-commerce agency Obsess and marketing consultancy Ave Advisory, the "Alo Sanctuary" app offers users a captivating array of immersive environments and spatial audio tailored for meditation, while also enabling them to explore and purchase items from Alo Yoga's extensive collection in stunning 3D. Within the Alo Yoga app, customers can immerse themselves in the brand's Navy, Midnight Green, Espresso, and Wild Berry collections, engaging with each product in various simulated settings to enhance their shopping experience. Neha Singh, CEO and founder of Obsess, highlights the app's advanced features, explaining that users can closely examine products to discern intricate details such as weave and texture, and even differentiate between different types of spandex materials.
To further enrich the experience, Alo Yoga is offering complimentary meditation sessions sourced from its subscription-based platform, Alo Moves. With over 20 meditation options available, users can select from four to six choices per environment, fostering relaxation and mindfulness amidst the shopping experience.The launch of Alo Yoga's app is part of a broader trend among brands to embrace Apple's new spatial operating system, with notable launches including those from J. Crew and Mytheresa. Alo Yoga is leveraging its existing virtual spaces to provide consumers with cutting-edge shopping experiences.
