Adeboye, wife support UBTH with three dialysis machines. The equipment was donated to the facility on Wednesday 2nd September 2026, by His Love Foundation, an agency of the Global Christian Social Responsibility of the Redeemed Christian Church of God.

Targeting Renal Care

Presenting the equipment to the recipients on behalf of the donors, Pastor Bode Olojede stated that the set of three dialysis machines was donated by Pastor Enoch Adeboye and his wife, Pastor Mrs. Folu Adeboye.

His Love Foundation covers a wide scope of services, from healthcare, education, hunger relief, rehabilitation, prison ministry and social enterprises.

The Pastor noted that they had been targeting intervention programs in Nigeria, which include the provision of intensive care units and dialysis centres in several teaching and general hospitals. “The RCCG General Overseer and his wife had been supporting national intervention programs, including building intensive care units and numerous Enoch and Folu Adeboye dialysis centres across various teaching hospitals and general medical centres in the country, “said Pastor Olojede, highlighting the provision of dialysis services and care as part of the donations.

UBTH Welcomes Healthcare Support

Commenting on the generous donation, the Chief Medical Director of UBTH, Prof. Idia Ize-Iyamu noted that it was a welcome donation to the hospital.

She explained that donations from organisations and individuals such as the Adeboye couple, His Love Foundation and others will be a huge advantage to the government and go a long way in supplementing government provided services, especially with regard to healthcare.

Edo Official Urges Others To Follow

Federal Commissioner, representing Edo State in the Federal Character Commission, Victor Edoror also commended the donors.

The former Speaker of Edo State House of Assembly noted that the Federal Government was not in a position to tackle all issues facing the country, including the provision of health care.

He called on other well-wishers and religious leaders to emulate the example being shown by philanthropists such as the Adeboye couple, whose donations have helped to intervene in the problems of needy Nigerians.

The donation is part of a long list of contributions by the husband and wife, targeting healthcare, and further boosts the resources of UBTH, which has been facing challenges in dealing with renal patients.

Business Fortune believes that for those Nigerian citizens afflicted with kidney and renal diseases, this gesture from the Adeboye couple is most timely, as dialysis services have become very expensive and difficult to access.
