Lysara appoints Ben Marks as CFO, strengthening the company’s executive leadership team as it accelerates the expansion of its fleet infrastructure platform across the UK and Europe. The appointment marks a key step in Lysara’s growth strategy, with Marks bringing extensive financial, investment and property expertise to support the development of commercial electric vehicle charging infrastructure.
Leadership Expansion Supports Growth Strategy
Marks joins Lysara after a senior tenure with Ares, following its acquisition of GLP Capital Partners’ international operations. At GLP’s European business, he served as Finance Director and Chief Financial Officer, helping increase assets under management from around $3 billion to over $10 billion. His background across logistics property, investment management and development strengthens Lysara’s leadership capabilities.

Before joining investment management, Marks spent 15 years at Berkeley Group, becoming Finance Director of St George after starting his career at PwC. His experience through multiple property cycles positions him to manage financial planning as Lysara scales its operations.
Building Europe’s Fleet Charging Infrastructure Network
Lysara’s leadership team includes Chief Executive Scott Parsons, Chief Investment Officer Jason Wade, Head of Development Dominic Holmes and Chief Technology Officer Jerome Baudou. Andy Martin, former BNP Paribas Real Estate UK Chief Executive, serves as Chairman.
The company focuses on commercial electric vehicle fleet infrastructure, combining land acquisition expertise, power solutions and customer partnerships. Lysara’s fleet charging infrastructure developments support logistics operators seeking reliable charging capacity near major transport locations.
Backed by GreenPoint Partners, Lysara launched with a £340 million investment commitment. Its projects include urban mobility hubs and logistics-focused developments near Heathrow, Lille and the Port of Belfast. The company also operates an income-producing last-mile logistics asset at the Port of Belfast leased to Amazon.
