NTT DATA has signed an agreement to acquire WinWire to strengthen its enterprise AI and Microsoft Azure capabilities, expanding global talent, accelerating cloud-native transformation, and enabling large-scale AI adoption across industries.
Global IT services company NTT DATA has signed an agreement to acquire WinWire, a leading Microsoft partner known for its expertise in agentic AI, Azure-based AI, data engineering, and cloud-native application development. NTT DATA acquires WinWire to strengthen NTT DATA’s position in the rapidly growing enterprise AI market.
The acquisition comes as businesses across industries increasingly look for reliable partners to help them move beyond AI experimentation and adopt AI solutions at scale. By bringing WinWire into its ecosystem, NTT DATA aims to accelerate the delivery of production-ready AI and cloud solutions for global enterprises.
Strengthening Microsoft cloud and AI capabilities globally
NTT DATA said the deal will significantly expand its AI and Microsoft cloud capabilities. Once the transaction closes, more than 1,000 Azure engineers and Microsoft specialists from WinWire will join NTT DATA’s global workforce.
