Founded by three former AIIMS Jodhpur students, NPrep raised $1.5 million in seed funding led by Lumikai to expand its AI-powered healthcare learning platform.
NPrep, an edtech firm, has raised $1.5 million in seed money to accelerate the growth of its AI-powered learning platform for healthcare professionals and nursing students. All In Capital, Velo Partners, DSP Group Family Office, and a number of angel investors, including Viren Shetty of Narayana Health, participated in the investment round, which was spearheaded by venture capital firm Lumikai.
NPrep has been founded by former AIIMS Jodhpur students Prince Kaushik, Utkarsh Paliwal and Gourav Khurana to develop an AI-based, video-first online learning platform that prepares candidates for government jobs in healthcare and as nursing students. The NPrep platform is designed to meet the growing demand for organized training and skills development in the health care education industry.
The NPrep platform combines video courses, AI-based personalized learning tools and exam preparation resources to help nursing students improve their understanding of nursing concepts, develop confidence in their readiness for nursing entrance exams and gain practical experience relevant to their future careers in health care.
Over 100,000 students allegedly registered with NPrep within its first ten months following launch, indicating the platform had considerable user growth momentum. The company targets prospective nurses in India and those seeking opportunities abroad in healthcare. The company plans to use the recently acquired funding to expand the variety of materials provided on the platform, improve its artificial intelligence capabilities, and grow operations nationally to reach additional nursing students. The company also plans to utilize advanced analytics & adaptive learning technology to improve the quality of exam preparation aids for nursing students and enhance individualized learning capabilities.
Due to the rising global demand for qualified healthcare providers, NPrep is positioning itself as a dedicated edtech company that aims to bridge the gap between nursing education and employment. The funding received is expected to support the company’s goal of providing future generations of healthcare professionals with accessible technology-enabled training that is the most advanced available.
