RAK Ceramics partners with SAP to unify 55 entities on a single AI-powered cloud platform, accelerating digital transformation and operational efficiency worldwide.
RAK Ceramics, a world leader in the production of porcelain and ceramics, has chosen SAP SE, a multinational technology company, to implement an enterprise-wide digital transformation that will be expedited by the integration of RISE with SAP. The program will create a uniform cloud platform that supports operations in over 150 countries by establishing end-to-end process integration across the company's 55 companies.
Managing multiple entities across disparate systems is addressed by the project by integrating them into a core cloud platform of SAP Business Suite, which includes SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud, SAP Integrated Business Planning, and SAP Success Factors powered by SAP Business AI. In addition to SAP Success Factors Employee Central and cloud payroll, SAP Integrated Business Planning will be implemented in three critical areas: sales and operations, response and supply, and demand planning. RAK Ceramics benefits from improved visibility, better operational control, and a system that can change to accommodate new industry needs and progresses in technology by moving to a modern cloud environment.
According to Abdallah Massaad, CEO of RAK Ceramics, choosing SAP solutions reflects their effort on strengthening how the company operates and ensuring technology support for long term growth. Uniting worldwide operations across RAK Ceramics onto a unified cloud platform will deliver better transparency and control across the business. Also, by adopting Clean Core principles and de customization, they will make an agile infrastructure that can adapt to transformation over time. This foundation will allow the company to introduce advanced capabilities, including AI, and equip their twelve thousand staff with current data and combined processes to better serve customers.
RAK Ceramics is positioned to progressively introduce intelligent automation across the industry. Also, this company will implement multiple SAP solutions to allow more efficient management of resources all over the industry over 5 years, supported by a cloud environment designed to improve efficiency and decision-making at scale. With AI-powered ERP, SAP Combined Business Development further strengthens forecasting, inventory management, and working capital efficiency, supporting strong and responsive supply chains worldwide.
