Mastercard introduces Fleet: Next Gen, a unified worldwide fleet solution that combines fraud prevention, maintenance, EV charging, and real-time data insights.

Mastercard has introduced Mastercard Fleet: Next Gen, a line of innovative solutions for logistics and vehicle fleet management. On February 4, 2026, a press release stated that it provides worldwide acceptance in millions of locations, including fuel, electric vehicle (EV) charging, maintenance, fees, and ancillary fleet speed.

Mastercard promises more intelligent spending policies and authorization controls based on location, time, amount, vehicle, driver, and merchant categories. Additionally, it includes network-based fleet data collection at the point of sale, a suite of solutions designed to improve data collection at forecourts and fleet-related retailers, and fleet cards that are digitally assigned and issued to drivers and vehicles.

According to the card payments network, the portfolio also provides fleet data management for enhanced forecasting and cost control, as well as real-time fraud and misuse monitoring. The market for fleet management is expected to expand at the fastest rate in Asia Pacific, with a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 18 percent through 2030, according to Markets & Markets data.

Looking ahead, Mastercard Fleet: Next Gen puts the company in a position to be a major player in how fleets change in a world where automation, electrification, and artificial intelligence-based decision-making are all prevalent. Fleet operators will depend more and more on real-time insights to optimize routes, reduce emissions, control costs, and stop fraud before it occurs as more cars become connected and data-rich.
