Kalp Studio and MGrow launch an IBM-backed blockchain program with scholarships, stipends, and job placement to train India’s next-gen blockchain talent.

An industry-aligned Blockchain Certification Program that provides technical training, internship opportunities, and guaranteed job placement has been introduced by Kalp Studio and MGrow. The program, which is supported by IBM, aims to provide structured, easily accessible education to meet India's increasing need for blockchain talent.

The eight-month program will include an internship of two months after six months of technical training. The stipend can go up to Rs 10,000 a month and students will get practical exposure working with Kalp Studio industry partners.

All over the country, scholarship applicants can submit their applications by evaluating the scholarship through the IBM evaluation procedure on the assessment platform. Those who come in the top 250 ranking will be awarded a 100% scholarship which will then take care of the entire program fee of ₹4.5 lakhs. The qualifying exam is set for June 10, 2025, while the scholarship application opens on April 1, 2025.

The principal program developer, Kalp Studio, ensures that participants acquire industry-relevant skills like smart contracts, decentralized apps, and scalable deployments by incorporating its knowledge of blockchain infrastructure into the course design. Graduates' profiles gain international recognition and legitimacy thanks to IBM's certification.

MGrow supports the initiative's mentorship and delivery aspects by helping participants with the onboarding, scholarship application, and one-on-one mentorship stages. In addition, MGrow will be in charge of more than 20 guest lectures on blockchain, artificial intelligence, and data analytics, as well as quarterly industry meetings.
