New software graphics hint at the Galaxy S26 lineup’s redesigned Camera Island and faster Super-Fast Charging 3.0 ahead of its early-year launch.
Samsung launched its first foldable tri-fold smartphone. Samsung is currently preparing for its coming Galaxy S series smartphones. The Galaxy S26 smartphone series is estimated to be released by Samsung early in the upcoming year.
The Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26 plus and Galaxy S26 Ultra are specified to be the 3 smartphones in the series. Now a new statement has surfaced online revealing the anticipated design of the next Samsung smartphones. Android Authority says that the One UI 8.5 software introduced the design of the coming Samsung Galaxy S26 series. The software's combined graphics show the back designs of the Galaxy S26, S26 Plus and S26 Ultra corroborating previous leaks from trustworthy sources.
The Samsung Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26plus have a camera island with a triple rear camera system that is stacked vertically as seen in the renders. The images that were previously leaked by tipster Steve Hemmerstoffer are consistent with this disclosure. The Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra on the other hand is stated to have three back cameras that are placed vertically in the camera island. In addition to the triple rear camera there are two other sensors.
In addition to the design the software teardown suggests that the smartphones will have Super-Fast Charging 3.0 which suggests Samsung may include higher wired and wireless charging rates in the Galaxy S26 family. These indications though not yet verified suggest both performance improvements and design refinements.
