The Google Play Flex Axis Credit Card, a UPI-powered co-branded credit card created to streamline and improve the entire card experience for India's financial needs, was jointly introduced by Axis Bank and Google. The card, which is based on the RuPay network, seeks to make credit as commonplace as the UPI payments people make daily. It is powered by Axis Bank's reliable banking knowledge and Google Pay's easy, secure experience.
Users will be able to apply for Flex by Google Pay, get the card in a matter of minutes, and use it to make payments to millions of physical retailers or applications. Users can instantly earn and redeem reward points with each Flex transaction, converting regular expenditures into material gains. The card's flexible repayment choices further ensure convenience, control, and financial flexibility through the Google Pay app, which enables users to easily convert credit card bills into EMIs.
Building on its leadership in the UPI market, Arnika Dixit, President & Head, Cards, Payments, and Wealth Management, Axis Bank, said that the bank uses Google Pay's state-of-the-art technology in conjunction with its knowledge of financial solutions to streamline daily transactions with instant rewards, flexible repayment options, and more. This card offers a safe, practical, and satisfying experience that perfectly fits the contemporary Indian lifestyle. It is seamlessly connected to the Google Pay app.
According to Sharath Bulusu, Senior Director, Product Management at Google Pay, the company's objective has always been to employ technology to make financial products easy to understand and available to everyone. They are launching a digital solution that aims to provide customers in India with real confidence and control in their daily lives by fusing the trusted experience of Google Pay with the widely accepted RuPay network and Axis Bank's financial competence.
With no physical documents needed, users will be able to apply for free from any location and begin transactions in a matter of minutes. Users can access the card whenever they need it because it is fully stored on the phone. It allows customers to make small or large purchases by scanning and paying at millions of physical retailers or by checking out on their preferred apps, all thanks to the RuPay network.
