SAP Partners with France’s Tech Sector to Build Safe and secure AI Solutions

New SAP France AI partnership aims to strengthen Europe with secure cloud tools and a fully independent AI stack.

German tech giant SAP has announced a partnership with France's AI industry, starting new and expanded agreements with firms like Bleu, Capgemini, and Mistral AI. The initiative's aim is to create AI-based secure cloud solutions that will safeguard European data and intellectual property while supporting the region's digital change.

The agreement was made public at the Berlin Summit on European Digital Independence. Through the partnership, SAP will combine its experience with corporate applications with the skills of major French technology companies.

SAP and Bleu have formed a Franco-German partnership to support Europe's digital infrastructure through SAP's subsidiary Delos Cloud. In the case of a military conflict or cyberattack, they have pledged cooperation with a focus on operational and technological partnership. In an effort to strengthen the continent's resilience and digital independence, its partnership with SAP provides cross-border cooperation in the early detection, analysis, security, and remediation of cyber incidents.

In the meanwhile, SAP and Capgemini will establish a Sovereign Technology Partnership to further develop their partnership. Through this partnership, they will make cloud platforms, agentic AI capabilities, and enterprise data management services available to European organizations.

Improving cybersecurity protocols and speeding the use of AI-based solutions in the public sector and regulated industries are the goals of this initiative. The growth of SAP's partnership with Mistral AI is another component of this effort. By combining Le Chat and Mistral AI Studio into its autonomous AI Foundation, SAP aims to provide Mistral AI's cutting-edge products through its Business Technology Platform (BTP).

The companies involved state that this partnership will provide Europe's first fully autonomous AI stack, including hardware, software, and services. SAP and Mistral AI will work together to create industry-specific AI products that address difficult engineering and research challenges.
