Mindsmith Raises $4.1M Seed

Mindsmith secures seed funding to speed up AI-based E-learning innovation and expand overall learning effect.

Mindsmith, a Utah-based AI-native e-learning platform, has raised $4.1m in seed funding to support AI with modern learning science. Next Frontier Capital led the funding round, which also included funding from WndrCo, Grix, Aaron Skonnard, co-founder of Pluralsight, and Karl Sun, co-founder of Lucid. Also, Skonnard has been selected to serve on the board of directors of Mindsmith.

The funds will be applied by the company to grow both its operations and its marketing efforts. Under the direction of co-founder and CEO Zack Allen and co-founder Ethan Webb, Mindsmith enables businesses to produce instructionally sound e-learning experiences up to 12 times more quickly than with standard methods. Also, learning and development (L&D) teams can turn existing data into interactive learning environments that produce quantitative results without sacrificing quality or expense due to the company's AI-based authoring platform.

Hubspot, Gaylor Electric, Laing O'Rourke, and several Fortune 500 companies belong to their customers. The solution provides an innovative, user-friendly interface with advanced security and scalability.

According to Killian Vigna, Instructional Designer at HubSpot, compared to HubSpot's previous e-learning tools, Mindsmith has been a major improvement. Their team gained greatly from Mindsmith's user-friendly and easily understood approach to course creation.

Mindsmith aims to support companies by providing training that raises long-term performance and truly modifies behavior. Companies may now scale training that increases performance when intelligence and instructional quality come together.
