Tietoevry Banking Expands into Germany with IC Cash ATM SaaS Partnership

The goal of Tietoevry Banking's five-year SaaS relationship with IC Cash in Germany is to increase productivity, fortify compliance, and guarantee safe cash management operations.

Tietoevry Banking has entered the German ATM market for the first time with a five-year SaaS agreement with IC Cash Services. The collaboration will assist cost savings and operational efficiency in Germany's cash ecosystem while facilitating safe and effective cash distribution throughout IC Cash's 2,500 ATM network throughout Europe through a strong and completely regulatory-compliant platform.

IC Cash, together with its subsidiary In2 Retail, operates nearly 2,500 ATMs across Ireland, Denmark, Spain, the Netherlands, Germany, and Austria. By utilizing the security, scalability, and operational efficiency of Tietoevry Banking's private cloud-based ATM solution, the organizations have chosen it to support their expansion strategy throughout these markets.

Their collaboration with IC Cash is a significant step in introducing their reliable ATM solution to Germany. This translates into more efficient and safe cash access for banks, ATM operators, and customers, backed by a strong and legally compliant SaaS platform. They are now in a good position to offer the same advantages in the German market, including complete support for the Girocard system, which is essential to the nation's payment ecosystem, after already lowering the costs and complexity of cash handling in the Nordics and the Netherlands, according to Mario Blazevic, managing director at Tietoevry Banking.

Additionally, the agreement initiates cooperation between the firms in the German and Austrian markets to bring new efficiency and work together to build the future of ATM pooling solutions. Over 10,000 ATMs in the Netherlands and the Nordic region are connected by Tietoevry Banking ATM Services, whose delivery approach has been shown to lower banks' cash handling expenses dramatically.
