Business Fortune-Albertsons & STRATACACHE Launch In-Store Digital Media Network

Albertsons Media Collective teams up with STRATACACHE to pilot digital screens in stores, enhancing customer engagement and brand messaging at the point of purchase.

The retail media division of Albertsons Companies, Albertsons Media Collective, has announced the opening of its in-store digital display network at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity in France. The new solution from Albertsons Media Collective, in partnership with STRATACACHE, will be powered by a fleet of digital screens. Promoting product discovery and creating media solutions that enable brand partners of all sizes to communicate with their customers are the objectives.

Jennifer Saenz, Chief Commercial Officer at Albertsons Cos., stated that the company sees strong potential to improve the in-store experience by delivering meaningful and timely content directly at the point of sale. Brand partners can engage directly with consumers at this critical point by working with STRATACACHE to provide them with relevant information, meal ideas, and alluring deals.

Large-format luxury displays will be placed in areas with significant traffic at strategic connections along the buyer's journey, such as the entryway and produce department, as part of a trial program that will begin this summer in several Albertsons Cos. shops in two strategic locations. Understanding the impact of digital advertising within stores is essential.

One of the primary reasons they decided to work with STRATACACHE was their technological foundation for closed-loop measurement, according to Liz Roche, VP of Media and Measurement at Albertsons Media Collective. Customers can fully realize the potential of the in-store channel when they can understand performance and reach them with appealing brand messaging at the point of purchase.
