Anderson County Schools, UDT Team Up for Smart Tech Savings

In order to improve digital learning environments and drastically reduce managed services costs, Anderson County Schools collaborates with UDT.

According to UDT, the agreement gives Anderson County Schools access to improved services and customer support that will improve digital environments. Additionally, it asserts that the cost of the services will be substantially less than that of the district's prior contract.

To say that Anderson County Schools are happy to proceed with UDT would be an understatement, according to Wade Haney, Director of Technology. They are thrilled to collaborate with a reliable partner that will provide the customer service and advanced solutions their schools require to instruct the pupils. These agreements with UDT will not only help Anderson County Schools achieve that objective, but it will also result in considerable cost savings for their managed network services.

Serving 10 of the top 20 largest school districts in the United States, UDT is a K-12 education technology company that is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year. Nearly 10% of all students in the United States use its services. 

According to UDT CEO Henry Fleches, the company is thrilled to have Anderson County Schools join their K–12 family and will use their experience to make sure Anderson's staff, instructors, and students have access to the technology they require. They anticipate working closely with the district to offer improved managed services and committed customer support that improve their digital environments, all at a far lower cost than they have been paying.
