Works Minister Abdallah Ulega, who is in charge of the fundraising event on behalf of the Deputy Prime Minister, called the summit a historic chance for Tanzania. According to Mr. Ulega, the meeting puts Tanzania back on the international scene. It coincides with the government's efforts to improve ICT use across the board, particularly in education, and to bolster its digital diplomacy. He emphasized Tanzania's need to use digital learning platforms.
The money generated will go toward student involvement, logistical planning, and innovative displays at the summit. Prof. Adolf Mkenda, Tanzania's Minister of Education, Science and Technology, described the occasion as a significant turning point in the country's educational reform initiatives.
