Sonata Software closes its second-largest deal to lead a $73 million AI-first digital transformation for a significant TMT company in the United States.
Sonata Software told the stock markets Monday that it has been hired by a large US technology, media, and telecommunications (TMT) corporation to spearhead a $73 million artificial intelligence (AI)-powered digital modernization project. According to Sonata's exchange filing, the five-year partnership will boost the client's ability to innovate, run more efficiently, and scale internationally.
A special AI-enabled Modernization Engineering Center would be established in India by Sonata Software as part of the agreement with the US-based TMT Company. Platform engineering, cloud transformation with Amazon Cloud, corporate systems implementation with Salesforce and Workday, cybersecurity, data services, and contemporary application development are the main areas of concentration for this center, according to the filing.
According to Sonata Software's Managing Director and CEO, Samir Dhir, this is the second-biggest transaction in Sonata's history and a significant accomplishment for Team Sonata. Their distinctive posture as a suitable partner for businesses looking for deep modernization capabilities and AI-first transformation is reflected in this.
According to the company, its deep technical knowledge, agile delivery approach, and track record of advancing AI-powered business transformation are the reasons the US-based customer chose it.
Sonata stated that the customer hopes to increase operational efficiency, speed up innovation cycles, and enhance their capacity to expand into new geographic areas as a result of this collaboration.
Through a full range of modernization engineering services covering data, cloud infrastructure, Dynamics integration, automation, cybersecurity, and emerging technologies like Microsoft Fabric and Generative AI, the company claims that its "Platformation.AI" approach is intended to build effective and flexible digital businesses.
According to the statement, the partnership will represent a major step forward in the client's digital strategy, advancing toward an AI-first outsourcing approach to sustain leadership in the quickly changing TMT industry.
Sonata Software, which generates $1 billion in sales annually, works on developing technology for modernization.
