Infosys unveils Topaz for SAP S/4HANA Cloud, an AI-driven suite to fast-track cloud adoption and boost business efficiency through industry-specific solutions and generative AI.

The AI-powered new suite, “Infosys Topaz for SAP S/4HANA Cloud,” has been revealed by IT services provider Infosys to help companies migrate to SAP's cloud platform. The product is designed to include AI and generative intelligence in various stages of digital transformation.

Based on Infosys' existing cloud platform, the suite includes services and solutions that are intended to hasten the implementation of the cloud version of SAP S/4HANA by businesses. According to Infosys, the new product enables businesses to modernize their operations more rapidly and effectively by combining pre-built solutions with industry-specific implementation instructions.

Several customers have already seen advantages as a result of the package. While a pharmaceutical company was able to automate a large chunk of its code transfer process, a worldwide consumer products company claimed improved demand forecasting accuracy and reduced planning expenditures. Another example is the use of Infosys solutions by a power company to enhance customer service and lower billing errors.

SAP's Jan Bungert described AI as a huge opportunity for businesses, while Infosys executive Dinesh Rao said the new solution allows corporations to put AI at the core of their transformation programs.

Roche, one of the pioneers, has been working with Infosys and SAP on a project to update and optimize its global IT infrastructure. The healthcare firm claims that the program is helping to improve data insights and streamline procedures.
