Gradely Names Adebayo Alomaja Deputy CEO to Boost EdTech Growth

Africans in the diaspora and students in eight African nations have been served by Gradely.

Adebayo Alomaja has been appointed Deputy CEO of Gradely, a Nigerian edtech business. Alomaja, who began working for Gradely as a tutor in 2019, was instrumental in growing the company's global teaching business to generate six figures in recurring income each year.

Alomaja, commonly known as "BayoGPT," is now taking on the position of Deputy CEO and will concentrate on bolstering Gradely's growth plan and increasing its influence. At the moment, the platform works with more than 150 tutors in various regions and serves over 150,000 students globally. He told Condia that he was excited about the adventure and that it was a great opportunity for him to solve bigger problems.

Established in 2021, Gradely offers individualized education to pupils in kindergarten through Senior Secondary School 3, which is similar to the 12th grade in Nigeria. Although the site is located in Nigeria, Africans living abroad as well as those in Kenya, Ghana, and Uganda utilize it. More than 25,000 courses have been given by the online and mobile e-learning platform, confirming its increasing influence.

Competitors such as uLesson concentrated on lowering data costs and providing offline-accessible material in Nigeria's Edtech market. However, Gradely sets itself apart by giving parents access to data-driven student performance solutions and empowering instructors. The company targets parents with specialized internet solutions and offers online instruction as a significant component of its business strategy. It also employs adaptive learning to modify the difficulty levels of its challenges.
