By using environmentally friendly methods, Green Feed Solutions promotes biodiversity while converting organic waste into sustainable products like protein feed and fertilizers.
A Cameroonian agri-tech company called Green Feed Solutions, founded by Boaz Pangui, is using insects to create a sustainable food chain. The Black Soldier Fly is at the heart of their creative strategy; it is renowned for bio-converting organic waste into premium, all-natural goods, including organic fertilizers and high-protein animal feed for fish, pigs, and chickens.
By producing honey in the Bafou Mountains using hives tucked away in West Cameroon's eucalyptus reserves, the enterprise also promotes biodiversity. This dual emphasis increases agricultural output while simultaneously fostering ecological equilibrium.
Green Feed Solutions wants to expand its business by working with partners including the World Bank, GIZ, Total Energies, and the European Union. In order to boost output, cut imports, and solve the nation's problems with foreign exchange outflow, Pangui announced intentions to purchase a 2-hectare plot of land.
The firm is looking for further capital to expand its operations throughout Cameroon's key agricultural areas in order to fulfill the soaring demand. Shorter supply chains, improved accessibility, and reasonably priced goods for customers are all guaranteed by this growth. Green Feed Solutions is making sustainable agriculture a reality in Cameroon by combining the production of raw materials with the manufacturing of completed items.
