Saudi Arabia to Promote Agriculture & Rural Development at Trade Show

At one of the top horticultural trade shows in the world, in Germany, Saudi Arabia will present its agricultural innovations and market a variety of regional goods.

From January 28 to 31, IPM Essen will include over 1,600 exhibitors from across the world, including the Kingdom through its Sustainable Agricultural Rural Development Program. The intention is to draw attention to the Kingdom's initiatives to promote local rural goods, help farmers, and advance agriculture on a worldwide scale.

The program will highlight partnerships and expert cooperation while showcasing its support for small farmers and rural community development efforts.

Participation seeks to draw in foreign investment, fortify international cooperation, and align with Vision 2030 to diversify the economy, increase food sustainability and security, and elevate Saudi Arabia's agricultural standing globally, according to Majed Al-Buraikan, assistant secretary-general for media and communication for the program.

According to Al-Buraikan, the occasion provides a chance to investigate ideas and solutions that can help Saudi Arabia's small farmers. In addition to distributing educational materials on supported industries, such as Saudi coffee, honey, and aromatic plants, the Saudi pavilion will showcase its assistance initiatives.
