Yoshi, Tan, Elton, Daksh, and their mentor Aksh Baghla discuss what it takes to form a pop band and create great music in their first song, "Tu Aadatein," which is now available.

It's likely that you can sing along with Viva!, the five-piece girl pop group formed by Channel V, if you're a millennial who grew up in India and were exposed to all things musical. From the auditions to the rehearsals and their big debut, we were shown every step of the process.

Let's fast-forward until 2024: The track "Tu Aadatein" by First5, India's newest next-generation male pop group, was just released. In a video interview from Chandigarh, the group—Yoshi, Elton, Tan, and Daksh—as well as their investor and mentor Aksh Baghla, express their amazement at the reaction. We may get a glimpse of their life from their Instagram handle, where they live together, perform multilingual renditions of well-known songs, rehearse choreography, and create practice videos.

First5 is a Himachal Pradesh-based singer, composer, and content producer who is Aksh's kid. He said that because of his passion for pop music, he started making videos for YouTube a few years ago. He started concentrating on developing my YouTube channel and content after realizing that he required an audience in order to unite a group. With more than three million YouTube followers, Aksh is well-known on the internet because of his numerous song mashups and "1 guy, 30 voices" videos.

Aksh describes how he discussed the procedure and the labor involved with a number of industry players. After a lengthy interview process, he finally posted a call for auditions on social media in 2023 and hired four members. The members all have excellent vocals, compositional abilities, and a love of dancing.

According to Aksh, the entire process of getting their debut song out has been an emotional roller coaster. Due to financial difficulties, he had to take on the role as manager and investor for First5. As a result, he had to step back from performing.
