OnePlus Watch 3: Rumors of a Worldwide Launch Gets Heat up

OnePlus launched its 2024 smartwatch earlier this year, but according to fresh rumors, it plans to double dip.

OnePlus is preparing to debut its next flagship wristwatch alongside some buddies, according to a post on X by Yogesh Brar (via Android Authority). As per Brar's article, the OnePlus Watch 3 is scheduled to "launch soon in global markets." Unfortunately, given that December is just one week away; they don't specify when customers might anticipate receiving this item.

The Chinese OEM's "upcoming product schedule," which includes the Watch 3, is mentioned in the X post along with references to a few other gadgets.

According to the article, when the OnePlus 13R was released at the end of October, it did not join the top-tier model. To put it mildly, this news is intriguing because we don't know how OnePlus will launch all three smartphones in international countries given that one hasn't been released in China.

In an ideal world, they would all be dropped simultaneously, but that may not be as likely as we would like.

When the OnePlus Watch 3 made an appearance for its TENAA certification earlier this summer, rumors began to circulate. According to leaked specifications, the watch will have a powerful 500mAh battery like its predecessor and compatibility for eSIM and LTE. Furthermore, it appears that 10W wired charging may be an option for the watch. Those early speculations felt more like a variation than a move in the series, especially given how recently the Watch 2 was released.

On the other hand, given the OnePlus 13's one-month launch delay, the "launching soon" rumor makes some sense. A month and a half before the OnePlus 12's December 5 launch last year, the phone made its debut in China on October 31. Since the smartphone is currently available in its native market of China, a global launch is anticipated sooner rather than later.
