CEE expansion

With the opening of a new office in Poland, M&A consultancy business Marktlink has begun its development into Central and Eastern Europe.

Following its introduction into the Swiss market, the new hub in Warsaw is the company's first in Central and Eastern Europe and its 18th overall in Europe.

In response to the expansion, Ferry Nahon, managing partner of Marktlink, stated that Poland is a significant economic force in Europe with a vibrant business climate. With the opening of their Warsaw office, they can further serve businesses in the surrounding area with their growth and exit strategies.

With its main office located in Netherlands, Marktlink assists mid-market businesses with capital raising, mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures. In addition to providing local client assistance, the business links buyers and sellers globally. Nahon clarified that they collaborate with more than fifty deal teams in seven European nations. This gives business owners access to a large European network of possible buyers and sellers.

According to Marktlink, the M&A advisory is eager to expand its reach in order to take advantage of the opportunities presented by this move, which comes at the forefront of an influx of mid-market mergers. The company only had five locations throughout Europe three years ago.

Nahon went on to say that data indicates that 70% of business owners in Europe are thinking about selling their companies in the next ten years. They are in a position to best assist entrepreneurs with this crucial process because to their widespread presence throughout Europe and local knowledge. The creation of our Polish office is a crucial next step in our plan to provide business owners with access to professional advice on acquisitions and mergers in every nation.

Anna Maria Jędrzejczak has joined the Polish office as its new head, having previously worked at EY.
